
Nina Lopez-Corrado is a producer/director working in Los Angeles. A film graduate of Full Sail University, Lopez-Corrado has a vast knowledge and working experience in both independent and studio produced motion pictures as well as major network television.
As a producer, she has worked on well over 150 episodes of the CBS television show The Mentalist, where she has also served as the series primary second unit director.
Her directorial debut short film Mindfield, garnered Nina the Best New Director Award at the 2012 Madrid International Film Festival, Best Short Film Award at the Chinese American Film Festival and both Best Director and Best Short Film Award at the Lewiston Auburn Film Festival. Mindfield was also an official selection at the New York, Boston, Newport Beach, Detroit, Las Vegas and Mexico International Film festivals. In addition, Lopez-Corrado’s producing talents were put to work launching the directorial careers of Courteney Cox, Demi Moore, and Kate Hudson.
Lopez-Corrado is a founding partner at Broken Toy Works Inc. Her company is currently in development of two feature films, two one- hour dramas and a half- hour comedy. Nina is an alumni member of the WBTV Directors Workshop and has since directed episodes of Supernatural, The Flash and Frequency in addition to FreeForm’s procedural hit Stitchers as well as NCIS NOLA, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, The Mentalist and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
